My two cents: Figures are based on Millenial Media geografic coverage, i.e. US & (maybe)Canada.
Figures does not correspond to mobile trafic data share, but there is simple explanation:
– iPad owners often use their tabletsfor video content consuming, what is badwith hungry. Watching one movie means data transfer in magnitude of gigabytes so comparing just amount of transferred data transferred is very unfair.
Millenia Media clearly recognized this and use better impression metric instead.
