Ainol Aurora II tablet with dual-core AmLogic AML8726-MX confirmed

Until now, I’ve been a little bit skeptical concerning Ainol Novo7 Aurora II announcement., especially about existence of any AmLogic dualcore CPU (see end of previous article).

But now AmLogic have introduced new, real dualcore CPU AML8726-MX:

There is nothing suprising on its specifications, it consists of  two common Cortex-A9 cores (out of order, 2.5DMIPS/MHz) and (probably) the same Mali-400 GPU as its single-core predecessor AML8726-M.

As  AML8726-M performance is known, we can estimate AML8726-MX dual core performance as just twice of its predecessor. Concerning GPU part, there is not known what  frequency of Mali-400 can be used and whether there eventually be more GPU cores or not.
